The NBA-SBL has tremendous potential to significantly impact commercial law practice in Nigeria today; a potential which this Council plans to intends to realize to the fullest. The founding fathers of the NBA-SBL have done a great job in establishing the Section and I must in, this regard, acknowledge the tremendous efforts of the founding Chairman of the NBA-SBL, Mr. George Etomi, towards making the NBA-SBL the flagship Section of the NBA that is has now become.

THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE OF THE NBA SECTION ON BUSINESS LAW 2012

The Annual SBL conference is scheduled to hold from the 17th- 20th of June 2012 at the Eko Hotels and Suites Victoria Island Lagos. Plans for a successful and far - reaching conference have earnestly begun. The theme for the Conference is ‘Global Legal Regime – Prospects and Challenges’. The sub-theme is ‘Trends in Global Legal Practice’. The Conference Planning Committee and Subcommittees have been inaugurated and full details of steps taken so far would be made available in due course. Click here for details.
Membership Requirements
Membership is open to any member of the Nigerian Bar Association upon satisfactory completion of the Registration Form and the payment of the Section dues.
